Size and weight?

In any case, it is an issue of the Ottoman Empire, Mahmud II, struck in Constantinople, dated RY 20 (AD 1828/9) and AH 1223 (accession year).

I dont have my scale handy, but it is the approx diameter of a US half dollar, but a little thinner and considerably lighter (hence the copper).

 

At that size, it should be a billon Kurush. Slight correction - the date is actualy RY 25 (AD 1833/4)
