Does anyone know what exactly is going on here with the reverse? I am fairly certain it is not PMD. Is this what is considered a die chip? It is raised however, so maybe that isn't the correct term. It sure is! Good eye. Obviously the crack or the chip were not even visible prior to dipping. Someone (maybe you) pointed out the crack in the dip thread. Anyway here it is pre-dipping:
