Can someone tell me what this coin is?
It is small compared to an average coin.

Probably a coin-like reproduction of a composite design, used in making jewelry.

It appears to be a crude copy of the general design of the Saint Gaudens, but since it doesn't show a denomination, it would not be considered a counterfeit.

I agree with Chris , also it sure doesn't look like gold to me . It is probably some base metal but still interesting .

It looks like it could be a reproduction.
