old coin

    It appears to be a Spanish "Piece of 8" if it's genunie of course. Is it? :)

    really not sure,except finding the way i did kind of made me think so,what can i do to check it out myself what would i look for and if real maybe whats it worth

    My first inclination is to say the coin is a fake because for that date, 1736, they no longer used this design. But I'll get out the books and double check just to make sure.

    This a poorly made counterfeit for a gold 8 escudos of 1736 from the Lima mint, but it is certainly a fake. Sorry :(

    Kind of felt it was,what a mean trick to pull sounds like someone must have threw them around lol,thanks for your help
