Hi all, may be a call to arms for not, but i think these are not supposed to be! Here I have two coins, THE SAME DATE AND MINT. Please, I know how they look, but is one an AM wide and one and AM close? after a few comments I will post the date.
Wow I am confused and darn it! There is a bigger gap on the left one even had two others look at them and ask if they saw a difference; thought it was a wide :-( How are the initials above different so I can figure this out without getting a bit excited or bothering everyone LOL. Oh they are both 2007-d and thank you!
Oh I see the G difference now......two of the references about coin AM didn't even mention that in their read, THANK YOU!
The difference is obvious in the comparison picture. One is closer to the base of the LM than the other.
Also noticed on the wide AM example the FG is a bit farther away then the other but I don't know if that matters.
I learned to tell the difference by looking at a 91 (wide A M) next to a 95 (close AM). With the coins in hand, the differences become readily apparent. Over the years, I put together a binder of small and large date, RPMs and other errors to use to check against what I find. Harder to identify varieties such as the 70 S small and large dates become a lot easier to identify when compared to both, side by side. I think it's the part of my collection I look at the most and is a never ending project when complimented by added error finds. The newer ones like the 1988 RDV 006 (88 with 89 reverse) are fun to search for, and found in circulation.
I have got several of the coins they are selling for alot of money how do I talk to someone about it.thank you for your time and help
Hi and welcome to CT. You are posting on a 6 year old dead thread. To get the most attention to your questions and coins you should create your own unique thread, Post clear, in focus images of your coins with the areas of your questions in close up. Also explain who told you about the coins you have being worth a lot of money, because if it was click-bait videos then chances are you do not have the coins in question.
