I just found this 1942 Lincoln Cent and it appears to have been struck through a stick or it might be a planchet flaw...I'm not sure...here are the pictures: Thanks for looking!:goofer: -Paul
Here's the definition of a lamination: A thin layer of the die metal which was lifted up and partially separated from the die, appearing on the struck coin as a depressed area, usually with a die crack along one side or edge of the depression. Lou
