Just getting back into the hobby and I obviously had forgotten how much fun it was. It has been 20 years. I recently got a good deal on ebay...a 1909 VDB MS65RD for $66 and I am going to hold onto it.

Yes, Nice coin.... Can you explain trends??? I've seen it mentioned many times with a coin and a price, but whats the difference??
smullen: Okay, Trends is the term that Coin World uses for their old coin values sections, ("Coin Trends") It was and is used so often that we forget that people don't remember the term. Today Coin World puts out "Coin Values" in a magazine format. Same thing, new name. Numismatic news uses another name, all different names, same animal. It is really just a current listing of prices.
