Well, I made some good cash from a few Large Cent sales recently, and I put it to good use today on ebay. Just won this Fugio Cent, one of the key coins for any colonial collector. It's my first one! To boot, it is a rare URS-6 rated variety. Coin looks like it has some nice details left (I peg it down somewhere in VG-F), and I have been wanting one for quite a while. Not that I'm concerned at all, but if anyone would have an approximate value on this one I'd be happy to hear it. Also got another colonial on the way, but I'll save the surprise on which one until it gets here.

These are the seller's pics, I'll definitely photograph this one when it arrives!

I love it! Nice color and decent surfaces. Very nice detail on the obverse, only downside to me is the reverse legends are not quite clear.

Thanks beef. "WE ARE ONE" seems somewhat legible, though UNITED STATES not so much. I paid a little under $300 for it.

It is mostly legible, just not very clear, but to be honest not many of these have everything clear, and certainly not at that price point! Regardless, a very nice coin, congrats!

I don't know much about the New Haven restrikes, do you have more info, like when they were struck, etc?

Funny how some fakes become collectible, especially when rich people bought them :)

I bet. I'm hoping to get a piece of MA silver next year.

A nice Fugio, specially at that price.
I was keeping an eye on this one too - but decided not to bid. I am glad you got it.

Thankfully it was me and 1 other guy. I have gotten lucky winning items with low bids/not many bidders recently.

I wasn't aware these were so affordable. I may have to pick one up myself.

    Nice coin, congrats!

very nice coin, love those chocolate brown surfaces. I think you did well with your money. Last I checked I have about 4 of them. They can get addictive.
