Is a scratch on the slab as bad as a scratch on the coin?

    Lol, try Byzantine bronzes. The best ones in existence are those with only one or two issues. :)

    LOL that's kind of like how I have an extra set of floor mats in my car to protect the original floormats that came with the car (that are designed to protect the carpets).

    Remember in a lot of cases the coins submitted have been prescreened and only those that were thought to have a really good chance of getting a 70 were submitted. Those 1000 proofs were probably not a random grouping.

    That's absolutely correct but............the buyer is looking at slabbed coins. Right?
