i was reading through my outdated blackbook of US currency (2009) and noticed that 1976 $2 notes from the Kansas City district are worth $25 in CU. are they really worth more than $2? if so, are they worth anything circulated? i live in KC so 90% of all 1976 i find are from here, and i have about $30 FV mostly in AU condition at the moment. any info is appreciated

You're thinking of the 1976 $2 star notes from KC. The non-stars aren't worth anything over $2 except in Gem Uncirculated.

the book lists stars at $300, and the regular notes at $25. if anyone could tell me the redbook prices that would be great
