One of these times, I'm hoping to open this updated thread and you have a picture of a stunning red head!

 

I can't decide which is better. Amanda's coin porn or Dutchman's cool coins.

 

The only reason I would vote for this topic over the coin porn is that it's presented in much smaller and easier to digest quantities, as opposed to an onslaught of items all at once.

 

This didn't walk in... But we picked it up for a customer...

 

My new theory is that they started slabbing coins so we wouldn't slobber all over them. Beautiful coin.

Proof only issue of 1,100 pieces. Closed 3 variety with a mintage of 600.

Very nice coin Matt. Check your 2015 copy of the Red Book. Due to recent research the mintage for both 1873 varieties is listed as 600 TOTAL. A big change to be sure.
