Here's a section that will really be of interest to Ian,as he collects Scots traders' currency tokens,just like I do,as they were used as coins.The most well-known of these is the Edinburgh St. Andrew's 1/2d. tokens of the 1790's,which are actually quite a common piece.I have 2 of them - 1790 & 1791.In a sense,these are coins,as they circulated as Scotland's money for a period in its history.
