I think you did get ripped on the first one. I have no idea what is causing them to grade that Morgan MS62. I have no problem with the last two grades as my guesses are usually optimistic.

 

I figured 64,62, and 65. You got ripped on the first one. The 2nd coin has a lot of contact marks in the open fields.

 

I thought they were pretty harsh...especially on coin 1. I wonder if those dings behind the nose were just too much for them to let it go any higher.

 

WOW, I DO NOT see 62 for the first one at all. To me it is closer to 63+ to 64. The second could have been 62PL, but I have seen much more baggy Morgans grade as 64s. The 65 seems right for the third. Talk about arbitrary!!

 

I was busy this weekend so I didn't see the thread I said 62 62 and 64 the reeded edge impression on the first held it to a 62 IMO the second was just generally baggy and the third was nice but just not quite clean enough for a 65 for your same I'm glad I was wrong on the last. I tend to be pretty tough on grading Morgans though.

 

Someone was in a bad mood that day.
