in 2010, the US mint started making quarters with national parks on the reverse: http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/atb/. this is the current US quarter, not anything special. currently they are making one for the great smokey mountain in Tennessee, they will make one for every state and territory until 2021
Nope. Ill just keep it. Its not the 200$ one. OK thanks. Then that would be worth like 20,000$, wouldent it? Yeah i was hoping it was that one, but it isnt.
Doesn't the s mean it is silver? Or does it just mean it could be silver? Somone earlier in this thread said it had to have the San Fran s to be silver.
The US Mint has been selling circulating versions of the "S" San Francisco mintmark clad quarters for a couple of years now in rolls & bags. NO Silver ! https://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/w...ctId=17354&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10087
1) Circulated (P or D) quarter what you have - worth 25 cents 2) Uncirculated (P or D) quarter - worth 1 dollar 3) Proof (S mint mark) clad quarter (not silver) - worth 4 dollars 4) Proof (S mint mark) silver quarter - worth 6 dollars 5) Huge 5 ounce silver investment coin - worth 300 dollars
Ahhh. I did not relize the silver one was bigger than a regular quarter. I saw 5 oz but did not really prosses it
Keep the coin and try finding the rest of National Parks quarters to complete the collection. It's not always about monetary value, you can enjoy collecting circulating quarters as well.
OK. I collected state quarters for a while, almost got full collection, but then relized I had 30$ in there and spent it. I'll try to collect all the national parks. I'm also collecting the presidential dollar coins.
