Don't see much talk about the two cent coin, so I'll show you mine and ask if there is a "Post your two cent piece" thread (searched but couldn't find)?

Cool little coin with a short but interesting history - tell us what you know about it!

The two cent piece is a favorite of mine. We're coming up on the 150th anniversary of the start of the two cent production on May 20, 1864.

First coin to bear "In God We Trust". Most people think that motto has been on US coins since the US Mint began production.

Thanks! Actually, I have never tried to attribute the RPD. Anyone have the Flynn or cherrypickers guide handy?

I took a look at Flynn's newest book but will need better pics. The digits 1 and 8 are clearly repunched but can't quite see the detail on the 6 and 4.

Based on the appearance of the repunching on digits 1, 8 and 6 and the placement of the 4, with Reverse #2 with the incomplete D. I think you have a Flynn RPD-008. Another pair of eyes looking at this would be helpful.
