Back off the coin a bit and post a large file pic. You may get a clearer shot.

If you post a large enough file I could maybe do some photo editing with it. Gotta be clear though......:)

May I ask if you've yet, as was suggested in another one of your threads, invested any time in trying to learn of the different varieties? If truly interested in this area of the hobby, it may be best to at least try to identify the coin or answer the question on your own before asking the board. This is, of course, not meant to be critical but only honest advice since understanding the different forms of doubling is necessary if you wish to search.

As for any value, and with all due respect; at this point in time it should not be a concern as you do not yet even know what you have. The below link would be a good start.

With that horribly fuzzy picture nobody is going to be able to tell anything. Try the macro setting on your iphone camera. That may help a bit. Even if the picture is a bit farther out you should be able to zoom in to the area and it might be clearer.

    As for value...what BooksB4Coins said... :)

What ever happened to real cameras, tripods and/or copy stands?

I'm not the best photographer, so I need all the help I can get.

What Green was saying is to back further way from the coin, maybe 2x the distance as your last photo, and someone can crop and expand it. The iphone has 8 megapix, so it should be sufficient. Take a breath, hold it, and shoot.

One thing to keep in-mind when imaging a coin: when looking at your photo prior to posting, if you can't see the issue, neither can we. Now, from the second photo of your most recent post it looks as if your coin may be an example of the oh-so-common master doubling (for this date and surely mentioned in that link); while you've only mentioned the date, is it possible that this is what you're seeing? While posting clear images may be best, taking a moment to better explain, in detail, what it is that you're seeing can also be helpful.

Don't worry about answering my questions... I understand.
