Good websites to learn about Canadian coins?

I've always liked the "older" Canadian cents (1937 to 1952 - George VI, 1953 to 1964 - Elizabeth II, etc.). Then the other day I got an older nickel in a reject tray. It looked like the current nickel (beaver on the reverse), but it wasn't round; it was many-sided.

I did some Googling and could only find one site:

    http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php

But it seems to stop in the early 1900's. Is there a "one-stop" website that would show all Canadian coinage?

I would say Coins and Canada is one of the best sites out there. I am unsure what you mean about it stopping in the early 1900s though?

Yeah, I see all the dates now. Browser earlier must have hiccupped... Or I was seeing things ;-)

Coins and Canada has a guide/listing of most of the Canadian coinage and varieties, but I find the pricing quite a bit off, especially varieties. The site is really an English translation of the French (Quebec) site and not as extensive as the French-only site. Another site to check out is canadiancoppercoins.com that has a large discussion with subforums for every denomination, monarch, variety or other subject matter that falls into the numismatic category(tokens, bills, auctions, etc). There are a number of very knowledgeable collectors/authors there and a great deal concerns early Vicky Cents, their varieties and die-tracking. There are also some portions of the Coin Community Family that contain specific Canadian subforums
