Has anyone seen these yet? Talk about a lack of detail in the design! The proof ones look nice and frosty though. : ) What does everyone here think of the new designs?
To be frank, they suck. ALL of the other finalists were much better. I don't know why they'd choose a silhouette, rather than an actual rendtiion. This one would have been much nicer:

Heh, you're a funny guy. The depiction of the Cowboy was taken directly from our old license plates. It is an enormously popular symbol here. The decision 3 years ago or so to switch from the Cowboy riding the bronc to Devil's Tower met with a great deal of resistance. Most folks still don't like it. I've been told by several of my neighbors that the Cowboy who "posed" for that depiction is the great grandfather of one of my oldest friends here. Kind of neat that his image is now on a coin.
