I have a proof set with a doubled die Ike Dollar. I cant find a site with any marker photos, only descriptions on varietyvista.com. Im not familar with the site so I might be missing the photos, but I assume if they would list and describe the die set, they would have marker photos also. By description, it looks to be die set #2. Any references? Thx

First off, is it Clad or Silver? The "Brown Ike" is silver, i.e. single coin, brown faux-woodgrain box with coin in OGP. The coin in the normal 1973 Mint Proof set is Clad.

The pics you're looking at with the link above are for the the Brown Ike Silver proof, which have a PCGS variety attrib of FS-101.

There are no listed major varieties for the Clad proof i.e. TPG or DIVa (the Ike Group Variety program) at the moment that I know of, although they (Ikegroup) are currently revamping the DIVa system and it's possible they may list some when all said and done.

Another site you can check is IDDD - http://www.ikedollardoubledie.com/ - which while a little hard to read and sift through, should list a lot of the doublings and pictures of them for you to reference.

Do you have closeup pics (i.e. under the scope)?

It's in a proof set, not the brown box. I noticed it this morning before heading to work, so I wasn't able to take pics. I will take pics tonight and post them tomorrow. Thx a lot.
