    I heard that pennies where more fun to get because they are more rewording so... dimes or cents? ps 1st time roll hunting so.... im a nooby at this

    You might find more interesting things with the cents...wheat cents and such. I think with the amount you have to use ($30) the chances of finding silver coins are very low. So, if you do decided to go with dimes...don't be disappointed if you don't find silver. I have seen people buy $500 in dimes and find none.

    How about four rolls of pennies, four rolls of nickels and four rolls of dimes? That will enable you to search for silver, wheats and errors on a small budget. I usually get $32.00 at a time from banks, eight rolls of pennies, four of nickels and four rolls of dimes. It works for me. Good luck and have fun. I recently found a couple of proof Lincoln cents in a bank wrapped roll. I usually get a wheat cent every six to eight rolls I search. Silver is getting tougher to find in rolls and/or pocket change as time goes by.
