Dear Masters these two coins are to be identified. Please help me.These are the best photos my friends could take..
Well, I'm not 100% sure regarding either of their authenticities, but the larger of your two coins is an Alex III AR Tetradrachm (or some sort of revision of that type?) ... it has Heracles on the obverse and Dionysos (w. countermark) on the reverse ... The smaller coin is a newer version of an Athenian Owl (I don't have one of these lil' beauties, "yet") ... Hopefully, both of your coins will be given the ol' thumbs-up by the other sharp-eyed on-lookers (good luck, coin-brother)
I see nothing to make me doubt the authenticity of either coin. Personally, I like the New Style Athens Tet on the right. I would like to see better images so as to attribute it.
Looking at the images I think we need to see better quality photos to be certain of these coins. I would suggest posting each separately along with weight and measurements if possible.
