I know, right? I've been finding a lot of silver lately. Over the last few months I've found 4 silver quarters, 2 war nickels and 2 silver dimes. One of the dimes was a 1911 Barber in good condition! Also, I've scored 2 very nice clad proof state quarters. I've been very lucky!

Nice find.. You could only imagine my suprise last year going to a wedding. We stopped at he corner gas station for a beverage. My daughter jumps back in the car, throws open her hand, 38 Merc. She has always kept a look out for wheaties and such for her dad. She new she had a winner. neadless to say I jumped out and went back inside to inspect all the dimes in the regester. That was the only one. Happy finds

Every time I see one this worn, all I can think is, "Job well done, dime. Job well done!"

Nice find. I haven't found any silver coins in my change lately, but it's easy to tell them apart. They make a distinct sound even when mixed with other change.

that's THE TRUTH.. MORE THAN MOST.. to me anytime I find an error in my pocket change, be it a die crack or a ddo.. cud or anything as such I am amazed.. I am enthralled.. and most excited that just means for the rare and far inbetween collector there is still an error or old coin to be found...
