    Hi,

This coin look proof on obverse side but revers look gray and very matt. There is no cooper on the rim... Is it a proof coin?

A proof would have very sharp, square rims. Your coin is not a proof. It is probably silver plated.

    Silver plated... Someone did it?

A proof would also have an S mintmark.

    Hi,

It's incredible :( but it is a possibility.

    Thank you Rickmp and Stldanceartist!

There is an off chance that it could have been struck on a 40% silver planchet. Extremely rare though so most likely plated. Check the weight and that will tell the story.

I picked up a collection not long ago with a set of Kennedy's in it and they were all like this. They were housed in a whitman folder and the cardboard did a number on the reverses of the coins.
