What happened to "...never cared"? I don't really care, I try to be loyal to one forum per language I speak. Who has time for more? You guys can check it out for yourselves. I didn't start the topic, just trying to add to the conversation.;)

I am ok with Canada being in 2nd place here... our hockey gold medals are all that matters to us Canucks.... (that and wondering when, or if, spring will ever arrive!!)

    ;)

Spring showed up here in New England this week. Should be up there shortly. ;)

  8. Yes, it did. 70 degrees here in NE today. Spring has sprung. :)

Time stands still, waiting for the snow to melt... when you ride a motorcycle....

Felt nice to finally have fresh air going through the house and it also felt good to grill again.

Those fleeting few days between when the snow melts and the pollen drops.

I really like the banners, Peter! How about a star for every year that you've been a member, or a bigger one for five years!

I don't care, but based on your questions it appeared you did. And unless I misunderstood, it seemed you wondered why spammers came here. I was merely pointing out that you could answer that question by doing what I suggested. That's all.

I was wondering what size of a daily audience the spammers that Peter mentioned, might have here on CT. I was not wondering what another forum might be like, as far as its traffic in comparison, because I'm not on the other forums.

If I was an official representative of a website, I would definitely care a little bit about the monthly or yearly statistics and maybe then, some comparisons with other similar websites might be pertinent. I guess if no one cares, no one cares. Sometimes, such statistics make for an interesting topic on a forum and help create awareness, discussion, etc.

I would consider checking if my website gets as many viewers, as a 1950's TV show on some retro channel.:wacky: Lately, I've been watching episodes of The Rifleman, whenever I stumble upon them on the tube.:nailbiting:

Personally, I see no need for such comparisons. However, statistics can be fun and entertaining, and discussing a growing or dwindling popularity of the website we are all on, can be enjoyable on a monthly basis (who is most active, which forum got the most views, which coin related thread had the most responses, etc.). Throw in a few inexpensive prizes for a few interesting categories that are worth measuring and you'd be surprised how you can positively influence the very statistics you are tracking on a monthly basis.

I've already read the attached text by Evom777, from another thread. I agree with those observations. Coin enthusiasts are in no position to try to convince each other of the growing popularity of this hobby, until we can figure out a way to collect and show off digital currency, on the many smart devices that are currently making the human race stupid.:zombie:
