    My dad gave these to me a while back, and since then they have started to tone.
    Just recently I was looking at one and I could barley make out a rainbow ton! I looked at the other one, and sure enough, there it was on the other one too.

    Thanks, BTW, just making sure its not some thing bad, in coin #1 there is some black stuff on it and its sort of like its part of the toning. is this ok?

    Yes that's fine leave it as is don't try to clean it.
