I just picked up this ungraded 1884 cc in original GSA holder. What do you think it would grade? I'm thinking MS63 or maybe 64.

If there is any truth to the "CC grade bump" then that coin deserves MS64.

I'm with the 64 crowd . And it would get a green bean too with the way they're grading now . Todays 64 is yesterdays 63 .

I'd personally call it a 63 but I almost said in my first post my grade 63 the tpgs with their leiniency would go 64 especially as it has no severe marks just a fair amount of small ones to the cheek

    I'm in the MS64 crowd.

It looks like a VAM-7A which has a die gouge just southeast of her eye.

If it was any mint but CC, I would say MS63, but it might go 64 , but it shouldn't.

Looks like a 63 to me, but I have seen other CC GSAs that look like that as 64. So could be either way.

I agree. I think with the way CC Morgans are graded these days this coin will get a 64...but IMHO it's a 63.

it has scratches around the edges so it might be MS-63

If you mean in the fields near the edges , those are die cracks .
