Between Great Collection, Stacks, Heritage, Tons of Ebay sellers, and coin show, Sundays have become a coin overload. Some weeks I dont have time on Sunday as Im busy with family stuff, so I may only visit one of the many choices on Sunday. I think we need a Thursday night weekly auction. I think a company could carve out a nice niche on Thursday.
Every major show (Baltimore, CSNS, ANA, FUN, Long Beach, etc...) has major auctions that go off from Tuesday night through Saturday afternoon.
there are so many sellers out there that a day for auctioning is not a niche. Some dealers such as great southern coins list auctions every couple of hours.
Heritage used to have a Tuesday night auction weekly. I don't know if they still do, but I know there were a lot of gripes over the lower end coins it contained. I didn't participate so I don't know if the gripes were justified.
Ha still has a Tuesday sale they sometimes put some decent stuff in and often run most of their better gold on Tuesday I will say their weekly sales lately have been mostly dreadful mostly low grade problem common or details coins
