I'm no Morgan expert, but come on...! 1892cc Morgan silver dollar I don't remember what font "The Simpsons" uses for its title, but I'm pretty sure the Mint wasn't using it for dates in 1892...
What tells that this is fake. (I don't know anything about dollar coins) Edit: I see the date is large
If you compare the date on this coin to the date on a legitimate 1892-CC, this one looks like its date was drawn by a child with a crayon. The other details give a similar impression -- just very sloppy and uneven.
Go look at any genuine 1892 Morgan on eBay, any mint mark, and compare the numerals. Plus this coin looks like Ms. Liberty has mumps. And finally, most of the letters of "America" lean way to the right. Plenty of other quirks too.
Perhaps the seller should send it off to this slabbing company: 1885 MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR WTF MS 64 COIN GREAT INVESTMENT "World Trade Foudation", indeed...
W.T.F.??? That's odd...I can probably send them a bag of no date buffalo nickels and they'll grade them MS71.
While it doesn't shock me that this is a fake, it does shock me that the pictures the person provided are clear enough to easily spot it as fake. In my experience, forgeries like this, especially from people with zero feedback, are blurry and / or too small to make out any details, forcing the buyer to decide if they want to roll the dice or not. Hopefully, this will get taken down soon.
