Hello, I found these 4 coins with others on a storage unit auction I had purchased. The person had receipts for the coins when he purchased them in the 80's. I would like to know if someone could give me an idea of today's value. Thank You

I cannot tell the authenticity of these coins without more information. Do you know the weight and measurements of each? That would help. The second coin could be:
Sicily, Akragas. c500-480 BC. AR Didrachm. AKRA, eagle standing left / Crab; CAS (retrograde) below. If authentic, I would think the value would be $500-$700?

Yeah that's what the receipt said about the second coin that you mentioned. I will try and update weight and size when I get back home. Thank You

The first coin is likely Pamphylia, Aspendos AR Stater with two wrestlers grappling; AL between / Slinger standing right; triskeles and club before. Value should be in the range of $250-$500?

That Akragas is pretty sweet, "if" it's authentic (crab & eagle)

That is a coin from Rhodes (Helios Head & Rose)

The last coin I cannot make out from the image you posted. The first three coins, if authentic, are very nice and very collectable coins. You should have no problem unloading them if that is your desire.

If authentic I would say all three of Bing's prices are for full retail, and even then I think the Rhodes is on the high side. Then again, I am pretty cheap.

They are all outside my budget, but the prices I show are from recent sales for like coins.

Sorry can't help you with value. I know nothing about ancients and don't normally care for them but that coin with the crab on it is really cool!

Those prices from the 80's seem about right. The Akragas is definitely the best coin in the group. I would say double the prices on those pieces of paper and you are right in the ballpark.

... well, it all looks pretty good, eh? ... luckily I'm not a random purchase-buyer, who has occasional fits of over-drinking & over-spending ...

=> because "that guy" would certainly be in trouble, eh? (whoa, dodged a bullet there!!)

Since they seem to be authentic, what are your plans for them?
