Well I recieved a reply to my email as well and yes he did remove the listing? Although the reserve monetary exchange did mention that it was heavier that a brick of silver it no ware states that these are silver coins! That's a pretty far jump if you ask me. I'll be on the lookout that this guy doesn't try relisting them. He stated he has 25 rolls of them.
You all did great keeping someone from ripped.:high5:

Thanks so much for your help, I just talked to them also, I am pretty upset the lady that sold me those assured me it was pure silver, but I will take this item off the listing I need to find out in e-bay what do I need to do so people don't think I am a fraud. Thanks for your advise

I actualy belive him and am quite happy to send him a link to this site so he can learn how not to let this happen to him again.

I feel sorry for him as it is a hard lesson as he's out at least $84 plus tax and shipping on his initial investment. He probably will not soon forget this experience. I hope he can get his money back. He should file complaints with the better business bureau and any of the online scam sites. He will need to try to recover coins that he sold though. This will probably help prevent any animosity the other buyer(s) may have. Not to often a seller contacts you to say sorry, let me give you your money back.

You must do your research before you buy!

Glad to see that the members on this board were once again able to step in when something wasn't right on ebay.

    Good job everybody!

Yes he did say that they were silver:

" THIS IS THE FIRST ISSUE OF COINS, EACH ROLL CONTAINS 25 UNCIRCULATED NICKELS FROM PHILADELPHIA INT. PURE SILVER"

And in his defence he claims he was assured that they were silver by the company rep who sold them to him! You have all by now seen there advert and it is deliberately (IMHO) vague as to the composition of the coins and alludes to silver rather prominently
