How do you report fraud?

How do you report fraud on ebay.

The mint does not make silver nickels, this is a flat out lie! How does one report this to ebay to have the auction pulled?

Where does it say the Nickels are silver?? or has the seller changed something already??

The seller is definately selling them as silver. Somebody get Zaneman and let's NARU this seller.

Yes, only one feedback, and it was for the sale of a roll of these "silver" nickels.

I have emailed the seller asking for confirmation that they are indeed silver LOL

Almost a waste of time. I've had some bad episodes with ebay sellers and basically so what. With the millions of sellers and millions and millions of items, ebay really doesn't care about one small lie or fraud. They will send you a nice, soothing reply though.

Just had a response from him, I think he might well be genuine.

got somebody else asking me the same, I will contact the reserve monetary exchange, who sold me these nickels and verify with them they told me they were silver. Thanks for the alert

As you can see the marketing tactics used to sell these is a little questionable. The guy on ebay may have misunderstood what he bought? Now there should be no misunderstanding if he really looks into it.

Wow....that is deceptive advertising. The statement never says that the nickels are .999 silver, but that they weigh more than a bar of silver.

I can see where people could be misled by a statement like that. Shame on the World Reseve Monetary Exchange.

I like the phrase, these bricks are heavier than a bar of .999 silver. How big is the bar, and why does it matter??!!! I noticed that the bid is up to $8.49, not bad for a short roll of nickles!! Some body is in for a rude suprise when the try and resell them. Let's see I would pay $1.25 per roll if shipping was included.

It's going to be interesting to see if this guy uses the same shady marketing technique to try to recover some of his losses on his initial investment.
