You may think I have high fever, or drank few whiskey bottles when I write this, but it's not the case.

Yes, there are actually better deals on HSN than ebay for HOF ANACS70 coins
-Clad half HOF dollar sold for $107 on ebay. HSN price $89.95.
-Silver proof HOF dollar sold for $200 on ebay. HSN price $179.95
-Silver unc HOF dollar sold for $180 on ebay. HSN price 169.95

Just 4 days ago there was a thread here on CT saying how overpriced those were.

Hurry up before the great HSN great deals are gone. [IMG]
(never thought I'd ever say that)

Please folks, you can order it from the mint and hope you get it, 'cause now it's backordered 'till June, or you can pick up the phone and get it graded absolutely positively perfect, will be first day of issue, limited edition of just 2xxx. Remember it is silver, so there is the silver component, it's the only curved coin ever struck by the mint, get on the phone folks it's quite busy in the phone room; just a few remaining now this is going to be the coin of the year the coin of the decade the coin of the half century...

Not a big fan of HSN or ANACS, just saying how ebay prices for those ANACS 70 HOF graded coins went up, just a few days ago in the other thread HSN prices seemed a joke, and now people on ebay pay even more than that.

The greater fool theory states that the price of an object is determined not by its intrinsic value, but rather by the often irrational beliefs and expectations of market participants.[1] A price can be justified by a rational buyer under the belief that another party is willing to pay an even higher price.[2][3] Or one may rationally have the expectation that the item can be resold to a "greater fool" later.[4]

What does this mean? Considering both the ebay and the HSN coins are ANACS and that the OP does not make any comparison to values from other services. The point was that for once prices for a coin are cheaper on HSN than the EXACT same coin on ebay.

For about 5 minutes and then HSN will adjust their prices upwards to keep with the market.
