Penny problem

    Found this penny in the register at work. What's wrong? Steel colored metal, slightly bubbled, and edges mashed in. Email for pics

    Its not hard to upload a file.....see the button below. I highly doubt many folks on the board are going to send you an email to see pics....they are just going to go to the next thread.

    Maybe it was plated and mounted in jewelry? Dont really know what happened to it, but it looks like post-mint damage to me.

    Since it is a zinc core, copper plated year cent, something ground or tore the edge of the copper foil type of layers. It was done after striking, so PMD ( post mint damage)
