    [​IMG]My question Is does Any one Have a picture Of a 1971 no S Nickel, I have have found On in fine 12+ grade , That it looks under the microscope that the S was wore off the die And flat! Any Nickel People Out there? I am more of a cent guy! I went to the bank and got 40$ in Nickels found one v nickel and Seven Buffalo Nickels and a few error coins. Any Info would Help Thanks , And yes I will Up load a pic Latter. TY

    What you have is one of 106,884,000 regular nickels (philadelphia) that doesn't have mint mark, the rare no S nickel are only found in proof set that is mirror like.

    What makes you think Philadelphia didn't mint nickels in 1971? They minted over 106,000,000 in 1971.

    As in your other thread they are Philly nickels they are not proofs.

    The proof nickel is what you need the no s on. Do you know the difference between the two?
