    Here's my contribution for this old thread.

    My Roman coins are limited in number, but this is my favorite for this emperor, posted before.

    Antoninus Pius, sestertius, Rome, Anona Standing, 156-57.

    I'm also a big fan of Pius. Given the standards of the day, he was probably about as ideal as could have been expected from a humanitarian perspective. Certainly not looking forward to the day, but if I get my timing right and have my wits about me, I'm hoping that my last word will be "Equanimity"! :shame:

    I like my Pius Sestertius, just wish it wasn't so dark. Maybe I'll swap it out one day:
