$500 Confederate Money 1864

    Hmmmmm... I believe I have some old money for you guys. My grandmother gave me this before she died, its in excelllent condition. [​IMG] Hmmm.. Anyone know how much its worth? let me know!

    Oh I also have some Red seal 5 dollar bills

    Wow

    Well, seems that my money is fake, seems that is a trend with most of my old coins and bills. Worth nothing or worth a little. Thanks for the post though but seems that my bill is just another replica just like my St Gauden coin. :(

    i'm not sure on the $500 bill, but red seal $5 bills will go for $8-$10, depending on conditon.

    I have one of those...it's fake sorry. I got mine fron a board game from the 1980's

    Its not a copy.. It has a copy with it, but its not a copy..

    It's one hell of a coincidence that I have a copy of your note then. My copy has the serial number 16760 on it as does yours.


    BTW, it's not even a good copy. The real $500 confederate note has a few more colors in it as well as other details that yours is missing.

    There are three different replicas of this note (one w/o the word COPY and two w/ the word COPY).
    Manufacturer is the Historical Documents Company, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
