I haven't found silver in pocket in change in, I don't know how long...

 

I was going through a huge jar of pennies at my girlfriends house, (she thinks I'm ridiculous) and I found a 1968 half and a silver dime.

 

Nice find

 

That's fun... it's a great feeling when you find some silver.

 

Just the other day I was going through some pocket change and I found a 1927 wheat penny! I was astounded!

Found this in my change on 3/27/14. Peru 1864 One Dinero. Not too weird concidering Peru coins are my favorite world coins.

 

I got a 1935-S in change at a gas station yesterday. All dates, etc are legible.

 

When I asked for any presidential dollars I got this impaired proof. First proof dollar in change.

 

I've found a silver Rosie in a change jar and a war nickel Swaping change with a vending machine. That's about it

 

no finds today, no finds tommorow, no finds for the next million years.

 

got a half dollar today (nothing special, just a 1995-D) at Sonic. the cashier tried to give it to me as a dollar, i had to show him where the denomination was.

i have gotten a few silver coins and wheat cents in the past, as well as 6 proof dollars and a franklin half at Boy Scout camp.

 

i have found three war nickels, 3 silver dimes, and several Canadian cents from pocket change. my mom gets mad whenever i almost run into a wall walking out a store looking through my newly received pocket change. but, i would rather not run into the wall.

Yesterday while at a U of Georgia Hockey game (yes, the college has a hockey team), we paid for a parking permit with a 20 at automachine and got 15 Presidential and Sacajawea dollars.

 

I very rarely get change, most of the time I use my debit card. It use to be nice to find silver coins in circulation.

 

A good reason not to use a debit card, and well customers of Target and Home Depot could share some other reasons not to use a debit card. BTW I got a wheat cent in change at Home Depot a while back.

 

I was one of the people who had to get a new card from my bank due to the fact, I guess my card was one of the cards that Home Depot messed up or was compromised.

Got a 1963-D quarter in change in 2013 - that's what re-kindled my interest in coins actually.

In the past year I've found in change:
1963-D dime
1943-S war nickel
plus a bank teller gave me a 1964 quarter when she felt bad about not having any halves or $2 bills.
