A couple error cents I found....

    Here's a 1955 with some sort of lamination or planchet error on the reverse....

    And here's a 1958-D cent with a blob on the 1 in the date.

    No offense, but the pics need some major focusing.

    That's some interesting lamination error on the reverse of the 55.

    Yeah, sorry about that=p And on the 55, i thought it was some gunk on the coin, until irealized it was the top layer actually flaking off...lol

    yes, the first is a lamination,
    the second is a die break, (or blob).

    And do either of these carry any real premium on them?

    I have found several 55 cents with blobs or cuds on the left wheat stalk. They weren't worth much till ebay came along, now people seem to bid them up a bit. To me, they're worth about .25 to .50, but if people are willing to pay a couple dollars, I guess that's the value.

    I have actually found several of these and even though I hadn't seen them before, it crossed my mind that this was a consistent error with this particular mintage. Thanks for validating this for me with your post!
