You actually have goldenshower in your ebay store account name? Does the 20 for that kenndy include one on the buyers part or the sellers part.?

i am confused. after all of this silly banter, and continual "odd" humor you always seem to show, the only conclusion i could draw is that you wanted to direct a bunch of CT traffic to your ebay store. i cannot see any other motive, reasoning, etc other than self promotion. kinda along the lines of "there is no such thing as bad publicity"...

lets be honest...it has $2.92 of silver, ugly toning....your normal "cat" routine is being played with a "kennedy" tone now...i gotta take you down a peg for this one bud. there are better ways to promote yourself.

$20? $300? i literally can never buy a coin off of you now because i cannot trust your judgement.

Now if you were asking $300 for an $0.11 coin, I could understand it.

Its not for sale anymore. $20 bucks for a NGC MS66* is a fair price. POP 3 with 5 higher. Find one for less than 300.00

I like your inventory. I am a fan of toned coins. I have bought some stuff from you on multiple occassions. But did you list that half as graded by NGC? If you had posted that grade at the price, I would have bought it before you could get your finger off the list button. I follow your store and see any time you list new items, but $20 for a raw Kennedy is just a tad more than what it takes to get me to pull the trigger, unless it has a very outstanding tone on it. I think I bought a toned Franklin proof half from you for that price, but the toning was a little less bold.

No when I listed it, it was ungraded. It never sold, so I decided to put together a toned graded Kennedy set for my own collection. I submitted it, and was pleasantly surprised. My point of this thread was to show, that there are good deals on Ebay, and I have no idea what I'm doing.

When you said you thought it's worth $300, I figured it was probably a confirmed low population of some sort. I could sense you were humoring yourself. I didn't think it was graded since the original post showed photo without holder which is why I said it might be a rare variety or something (again low pop of some sort).

If most are like me (don't know how to grade raw Kennedys), they just buy on looks. And raw Kennedys are so common, it takes a lot of Wow and a low price for it to sell. Just my opinion.

You said it. There are a bunch of deals on eBay in raw coins. The two biggest problems are 1] knowing what to look for 2] Overcoming the fact that you can't grade with coin in hand.

For the record, I'm don't know what I'm doing either . I know the what-to-do but still working on the how-to-do.

I think high grade Kennedys and Ikes are overlooked, and could present good paydays with the right level of knowledge.

The toning is nice except, there's what they call a "torn piece" missing. Well, I call it a "torn piece" and if a toner has the "torn piece" effect, I pass. ;)

You want to find out what that Kennedy Half is really worth? List it in an open style auction with no reserve and a min opening bid of .99 cents on eBay and let 'er rip.

When it sells, and with that opening bid it will, you will then know EXACTLY what the market value of that coin is on that given day and time.

From the images, I would have called it a 65.
From better images, I'm not sure I would agree with NGC.

A little more credit would probably be required. This is one of the few guys who constantly ships me grading worthy quality coins, is flexible with swap vs. purchase, goes out of his way to provide affordable international shipping (instead of just writing US only) and can be approached about pretty much anything, no holds barred. I only met bkozak33 when I joined CT, we were not friends prior to that, we are now. No regrets. Wish I lived closer so that I can meet up with him when he frequents his secret dealer locations for incredible toned specimens (see my avatar).
