1911d?

    I found this coin, and I think it is a 1911d. And would there be any way to get all the dirt off of it without cleaning it. shot0007.png shot0007.png

    I don't think that is dirt. I think the copper is corroded.

    Hard to tell for sure. I see where a "D" could possibly be but I could just be seeing things.

    I know for a fact that there is a D, it is just hard to see in the photo. So would it be a 1911?

    Well it looks more like a 1911 to me than the "D" but you have the coin in hand so I would defer to you.

    Directly 6 o'clock of the first one in 11 there appears to be the top of a "s"
