That big silver medal has a very cool classic commem look to it on the reverse.. its like standing liberty lady dropped her shield and walked out of her spot between those walls.

 

Ya, I like that medal too. Think I may have to get a set.

 

Ok...so I ordered a set and it's on the way. I'm really excited about this set too, thanks for brining it up Green!

Actually, that's a silver (.999) medal Chief. It's a repro of a 3" bronze mint medal.

Mine came yesterday. Very happy with the quality of the coins and packaging. Neat set.

 

Actually, I'm very pleased that the mint struck the inaugural medal in silver and didn't opt to plate a bronze one like they did with the Westward Journey Coin and Medal sets back in '04/'05. The plated Peace Medal looks so cheesy.........

 

I got my set today. Beautiful medals.

 

I especially like the design of that Bald Eagle. Really nice.
