I agree with zaneman! The value is around $400 to $425 but it is almost impossible to get anywhere near that for most of the $5 Gold pieces!
The coin appears to have AU details, but it looks like there may be some light damage on the obverse between the feathers and the legends. I'd have to see other pics.
it looks much worse on these pics than when you use the naked eye or even a magnifying glass, the light used to photograph has made it shadow. But, yes it does have some scratching there for sure.
