i am not sure if this is some type of token or not. i have no idea of the year and what the value might be. any info. would be helpful.

This token looks very much like the American Gaming Counters made by the firm of Ludwig Christoph Lauer. The Lauer firm used foreign language to aid in generating wordage that could have multiple meanings. I only have Part I of L.B. Fauver's "American Counters", which covers double eagle and eagle gold. I could not find a match to your obverse nor reverse in that reference, so I am guessing that its size is smaller than that of an eagle. If it is a common die pairing, I would agree with GeorgeM as to value.
