Bought Some Coins

    They all have a little luster, I pretty much got the peace dollar for melt and the half's were both 12 so if one's cleaned i don't feel too bad, i also got a 1938 D walking half that was cleaned for 15.

    You did really well. I've never seen even a cleaned 38-D go that cheap.

    I was surprised as well, i did buy a lot of coins tho, got some barber dimes that I'll post later don't know what the weird patter on the bottom left of the franklin is tho, thumb print? lol

    Looks like some mighty fine coins Cade. IMO you did very well, if you didn't overpay, which apparently you didn't if you got the 1938-D for $ 15.00. Nice going.

    I find that you can get really lucky with '38-D Walkers, perhaps more so than any other 19th century semi-key date I've encountered. I picked up a lot of 2 at auction a year or so ago for $40. One was definitely a F details coin, with a major rim ding, but the other was a clean VF. These can really be sleepers!

    Great buy!
