I did indeed have a good weekend. I capped it off with a gorgeous 1972 DDO #3 also! I still have a box and a half of cents to go through.

I will most likely go back to the BofA this week and if that teller is there, I will ask her to hold anything like that that she gets. I don't have an account with them but they all know me and are more than happy to give me what I ask for. Perhaps some donuts should be coming their way this weekend? :)

  3. Box of penny's. About 8 rolls of brand new 2014D pennies. I would like to save these, well because why not. Question though. What do you guys prefer. Roll them back up in paper rolls or put them in tubes and save for the next 50 years

Keep on mind they are currently in a pile on the ground and not in tolls

So I went to the bank today, my first attempt to do some CRH.... Imagine my excitement when the teller says 'Why yes we have a box of cents, and some other rolls as well' and I see this.... IMAG0169.jpg

Excitement gets even stronger when a 1935 wheatie shows up in my change from Starbuckeroos!

And then I go through them...

Roll results/stats posted soon, but nothing exciting. 4 whole wheats, including the one at the endcap.

And the box was solid 2013 x(

    Oh well! Will try again.

went to my dump bank today and 3 other banks and also hit 4 buisnesses looking for halves. managed to scrounge up only 3 rolls and some loose....skunk as usual.

Also hit the armored car out front of my dump bank and couldn't even buy a box off them........sad

Just established a working relationship with a local bank as a pick-up bank. Some banks around here are charging a fee for buying boxes of halves, but apparently they don't. And my 'dump' bank has a coin machine. :) I plan on ordering some halves next week.

$12 in cents, $3 in foreign coin lot

    CENT LOT:
My THIRD 1909 (2nd VDB) in a little over a month
    8 wheats 41-55
    3 Canadian cents
    1 dime
    5 - 2009
And unforunately, less than 25% of the years I search. It usually more around 50%

Also 3 jefferson nickels: 2 1941 and 1 1952. The guy at the deli happen to spot them and put them aside for me

    FOREIGN COIN LOT:
Mostly canadian quarters, dimes and nickels, but now I have a $10 roll of quarters (not silver)
    A japanese 1 dollar coin
    Some south american coins
And this 1866 shield nickel. Didnt even notice it until I got home. Paid a nickel for it.

Finding coins like this is not curbing my coin roll searching addiction one bit lol
