When I looked at your quarter the first thing I thought about was the following..



Stamp collectors would know what I'm referring to

 

But, he has an upside down Bessie not a Jenny.

 

That's the way we like our Bessies and Jennys.

 

Pretty sloppy. I'll bet that it's a Philly, and not a Denver.

 

Brand new strike and the mint still can't get it right. With all of the things going on in the world today, I wonder if the mint lowered its standard for new hires?

 

Hey, if the Grading Combines do it and few complain , why can't the Mint.

 

I think that's how poor Bessie died. Jenny just rolled over from some kind of mechanical failure, and she fell out.

 

I've collected stamps since I was kid. I have the book written about this stamp. Only one sheet was ever found and bought in Washington D.C.. I've never seen one but a guy I used to buy from at auction actually sold one. Unfortunately it was stolen and the buyer had to return it.

 

You got that right.
