In my inheritance colection from my grandfather I had a fair number of forein coins all of which I have be able to identfy but this one. Its the size of a quarter with the same desigh front & back. Any Ideas ?
It's some kind of token. It appears to be the first character ("fuku") in the Japanese word "fukubi" (lottery); but since the same characters are used in China it's hard to say where it's from or what its purpose was.
Thanks guys as some of the stuff I have Grandpa got & brought home during WWII and some later on while he worked for Pan Am
