    Sterling silver .925
Is what is the normal amount used in 1980's and up today. But their is a few bullion coins made since silver price got over 10.00 to 15.00 dollars per ounce . Marked with .999 pure Silver .
A lot are 1 - 5 oz coin or Silver bars with or without a design just a bar.
Better photo would help of both Obv and Rev. :)

I got the info from my Krause catalog, I bought a used 2010 edition on amazon for under $10 shipped, either book would be nice to have.
