So it was either a 1893 Liberty V Nickel proof or a Taylor guitar for me.... Went with the guitar.... Wasn't going to buy it but when I see a 4x eBay bucks email..... it's free $$$
Coin...guitar...coin...guitar...in case you can't decide next time... Cajun Pawn Stars on History Channel '71 Fender with encased Morgan Dollars, episode "Knocked Up". One of my favorite shows. Hope there's no problem posting this here.
I didn't spend enough to get ebay bucks at all since they changed to a $5 minimum. Must be where they are getting the 4x multiplier. All of us who don't spend enough.
Ebay bucks means you get $2 back for every $100 you spend on ebay. 4x ebay bucks should mean $8 for every $100 I think.
If you have an eBay account but don't know what ebay bucks are, you're missing out on free money. Basically 2% back on everything(minus bullion) that you get back 4 times a year. It's free to sign up.
I've had an ebay account for years but never got emails about this or heard of ebay bucks before lol Thanks for the info!!
Hmm. I had the quad Bucks offer today and just took advantage last week of a 10% EBB special. That one 10% offer netted me about $75 in free money to spend back on a coin after April 4th. Wish I couldve used the Quad one today but alas I have no coins to buy at the moment
You're not the only one. A friend at work does a lot of buying in eBay and didn't know about it until I told him last week about it.
Yeah...they don't exactly advertise it. You have to opt-in to the program. They also recently set it up so you have to make a minimum number of purchases to get any bucks in a given quarter. If your eBay bucks don't total $5 or more in a quarter...you don't get anything. That basically means you need to spend $250 to get a reward. In the past, there was no spending minimum.
Not picking on you Doc, but I don't have any problems with them choosing to be exclusive on who can redeem the bucks. It's ebay's money to give back in the first place and to me it's no different than any other rewards program out there. Those who shop frequently and keep eBay in business by spending $1000 per year ($250 per qtr.) get the rewards. Heck, it's better than no rewards.
Only if the item is over $150. That was one of the qualifier was that you had to spend at least $150 on a purchase to obtain the quad multiplier.
I could have told you the 4x bucks would be coming out today, you see, it's always the day after I make a big purchase that one of these deals comes out. LOL True, though! Happened the same way with the 10% off deal!
