I just tried to verify a few coins I am eyeballing on feebay on the NGC site, and it keeps telling me that it is an incorrect cert #. So I plugged in a few of mine too, ones I have verified before. No luck. And after putting it in twice, it then requests a "CAPTCHA!" log....what gives? Anyone else having this issue? I havent tried the App or mobile.
i have verified coins on my weekly Sunday night coin-buying/walking-dead menage before. its like a ritual for me.
Just tried it with a known good coin with the same result. My best guess would be they are bringing up some new functionality this evening and we just got it in between the old and the new. I say that because the captcha is new for them.
I was about buying a gold coin but as I couldn't verify the cert # I hesitated to bid. Just figured later that the service is down.
I had the same problem with a bullion site I visit. The date on the certification was 2010 which is about when I made the link in my favorites list. I was able to Google and got on to the home page and logged on from that route. I'm thinking it might be a cashe issue. I updated my link and haven't had a problem since.
I just tried to look at an invoice that was shipped back to me on Friday. It says details not yet available, but I saw the details Friday & yesterday. So they must be having a problem or an upgrade.
